Hey all! This repository is aimed at providing the newbies with essential resources to kick start their journey into programming and herein you can find the material organised into a 4-week program.

Now we know GitHub can be a little harsh on you and oh, that added to the perils of programming which in in itself is no mean feat, well that is a bit too much to ask. But trust me, you've got this. Now follow these instructions step by step at your own pace and before you know it, GitHub and coding will become your closest buddies. Well, more like frenemies but that is out of the scope of this discussion :D

Instructions to Upload your Solutions:

  1. Click on the Week 1 Folder
  2. Go through the 'README.md' file which opens automatically once you click on the folder. This contains all the references and links required for aqcuiring a basic know-how of the topic
  3. Take a break, have a kitkat, so much knowledge is not easy to digest at one go, we know :))
  4. Once you are comfortable with the topic, click on the 'ProblemSet' file and you'll find links to a set of stimulating problems related to the given topic.
  5. After you've gone through those conundrums and finally worked out your solutions(phewww!), you can post your answers by clicking on the 'General Solutions' file. Here, you have to click on the 'Add file' tab and select 'Create New File' from the drop-down menu.
  6. Name your file according to the format given below and copy paste your code in the 'Edit new file' section.
  7. Click on the 'Propose new File' tab and then on the 'Create pull request' tab. Your work for the day is done!
  8. Give the file your name, followed by reg no. & question number in a format like "myname_18bce001_q1".
  9. And viola! You are done for the day! Now it is time for another break and don't forget to gear up for the next week's challenge. See ya 👋
