An Ember Questions And Answers application

Description

Ask Developer application allows junior developers and newbies learning to code to ask questions that senior developers, product owners, senior designers, recruiters, and other tech professionals can answer.

Planning

1. Configuration/Dependencies

• Bower components which include Ember, jQuery, Ember Data, QUnit and Bootstrap, to be installed in the bower-components directory.
• Node.js modules for operation.

2. Specs

• Spec: User submits a question to the forum; input: Question 1; output: Answer to Question 1 which includes a snippet of asked question.

3. Integration

• Initial routes or index pages with all dependencies in Controller/index.html head
• Template/html page for all Questions in a list.
• Template/html page for every individual Question and their corresponding Answer/s.
• Template/html page for asking a question (a form).

4. UX/UI

• Include and modify bootstrap/materialize/Sass etc.
• Develop custom style

5. Polish

• Add styling and navbar for all routes.
• Make README awesome

Prerequisites

You will need the following things properly installed on your computer.

• Git
• Node.js (with NPM)
• Ember CLI
• PhantomJS

Installation

• git clone https://github.com/codingkuzzi/ask-developer.git
• cd ask-developer
• npm install

Running / Development

• ember serve
• Visit your app at http://localhost:4200.
