stream stops working

idk if this is a problem with mastodon, or with mastodon.py, or with my code, but after a while it seems events stop coming in
i wonder if the stream just closes on the server side and the client side never takes notice

this hasn't happened once since i revived the bot a month ago. i think this has been fixed
