Java front-end for the DNABarcodeCompatibility R-package.

Start up / installation

Requirements

• Recent 64-bit Operating System (Unix, Windows 10)
• Java (JDK 8 - 64 bits); note that the version from Oracle includes the required JavaFx.
• Latest version of DNABarcodeCompatibility R-package.
• rJava R-package: in an R console, type in install.packages("rJava").

Download for all platforms

• DNABarcodeCompatibility_GUI.zip

Quick start on Windows 10

• Unzip the downloaded file
• Setup the R_HOME system environment variable here
• Double-click on the jar file
• Then refer to the Quick start tutorial to set up and use the DNABarcodeCompatibility user interface

Quick start on Unix/MacOSx

• Unzip the downloaded file

• Within a terminal console, go to the DNABarcodeCompatibility_GUI folder and run the command bash startup.sh

• Then refer to the Quick start tutorial to set up and use the DNABarcodeCompatibility user interface

Using a launcher for MacOSX
