Just a simple graph for displaying CPU and GPU load under Windows. GPU load only for Nvidia cards at the moment.

README

Cpu Gpu Graph is a little tool to monitor the CPU and GPU (only Nvidia) load. Nothing more. I wanted a simple and small app on my second monitor to keep an eye on my computer's performance. These are also my first real endeavors into C# and WPF.

Used in this app:

  • Material Design In XAML Toolkit 1
  • code from Chang-Hung Liang to get GPU load via nvapi.dll (installed with Nvidia driver) 2
  • the latter was packed by me into the "nvGpuLoad_x86.dll"
  • WPF GUI

Download the binary or the Visual Studio solution if you are interested. Have fun.

Version

v1.0.5 - added ping

v1.0.4 - Bugfix: application crashed with right click on title bar (Thank you Dan for the bug report - my man!)

v1.0.3 - small design changes (color, text) - added dll check. CGG now also runs without Visual C++ Redistributable or Nvidia card, i.e. it only displays CPU load

v1.0.2 - custom polling/update rate (0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 2, 5 or 10 second intervals) - added togglable glow around application window indicating CPU load from low (blue) to high (red)

v1.0.1 - nvGpuLoad_x86.dll was build in debug mode and thus would not work on systems without a SDK installed. Should work fine now.

v1.0.0 - Initial Release

Installation

Download the portable version (zip file with the executable) or the the installer under the download section (bitbucket) or the latest release section (github).

Since there is code written in C++ you may need to install the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 x86.
