Potential Agenda:

  1. Common state mistakes
  2. Performance (large datasets, lazy loading, optimizing renders, Comparing context to 3rd parties, React-query optimizations, memoization, optimistic)
  3. Testing (mocking with msw, Playwright, Vitest, e2e vs integration tests, using Playwright codegen, creating scenarios within msw)
  4. React 19 goodness. Next.js to try RSC and server actions and app folder routing.
  5. Tanstack Router - Strongly typed routes, route level caching (may not need react query)
  6. Audit/ review existing codebase.
  7. Migrate a CRA app to Vite

React + TypeScript + Vite

This template provides a minimal setup to get React working in Vite with HMR and some ESLint rules.

Currently, two official plugins are available:

Expanding the ESLint configuration

If you are developing a production application, we recommend updating the configuration to enable type aware lint rules:

  • Configure the top-level parserOptions property like this:
export default {
  // other rules...
  parserOptions: {
    ecmaVersion: "latest",
    sourceType: "module",
    project: ["./tsconfig.json", "./tsconfig.node.json"],
    tsconfigRootDir: __dirname,
  },
};
  • Replace plugin:@typescript-eslint/recommended to plugin:@typescript-eslint/recommended-type-checked or plugin:@typescript-eslint/strict-type-checked
  • Optionally add plugin:@typescript-eslint/stylistic-type-checked
  • Install eslint-plugin-react and add plugin:react/recommended & plugin:react/jsx-runtime to the extends list
