I created this for a previous job in an effort to get them to use graylog and log4perl. I no longer work there (as of 2015) and I don't run any perl code personally or run graylog so I can't properly test/maintain this module.
Log4perl is great. Graylog is awesome. This layout when used with Log::Log4perl::Appender::Socket allows you to log directly to graylog.
