The Ascend Developer Kit (often abbreviated as the Ascend DK) is a computing platform ecosystem project based on Huawei's self-developed artificial intelligence (AI) chipset Ascend 310. It provides rich open source code libraries to help developers develop AI applications. The Ascend DK can be easily deployed in the Atlas 200 DK, which provides a one-stop development suite for developers, including the AI hardware computing platform and related tools. This enables developers to efficiently write AI applications running on specific hardware devices.

As an open AI computing platform, the Huawei Ascend chipset provides only related AI computing capabilities and enables third-party developers. Data such as photos and videos is controlled by third-party developers. Third-party developers determine the content and types of data to be collected. Huawei does not collect or save any user data.
