Crash and save erases when opening map

Twice already while trying out the game has the app crashed, but that’s not all, the save data has been deleted. Today. 10+ hrs. lost, no way for getting it back.
It happens as soon as I opone the map in the PokeNav.

Did you change versions during your playthrough? Changes could have corrupted your data.
No other users have reported PokeNav errors, so if you can share any details (what version, where you were, etc) or screenshots that can help me track it down.

Hi!
First of all, wow that was quick! Thank you for writing to me so fast, I
love pkmn yellow and so far your rom.
Ok, so I have NO$GBA on my Windows 10, and downloaded the classic bps file,
V1.3. And on my first play through, I checked the map on the PokeNav and it
crashed the app. So I open it up, and the save disappeared.
So I started a new one, day one I avoided map, day 2, up to the 3rd badge,
I forget, check map and.. it crashed again, erased the save too. I made a
back up of the first day .SAV file on another part of the computer and that
wasn’t affected.
Now, I stared playing it on my phone too, IPhone XR, and will try again to
look at map, and see what happens. I’ll let you know if it also crashes.

I haven't been able to replicate this at any stage of the game. I have 6 badges so far.

then, I’ll just delete every file I have (including rom) and start fresh.

I am playing it on my IPhone XR, using eclipse, and no problems with map
either, and that is using the same copy that always causes the crash on the
pc emulator I’m using.
So it has to do something with the emulator then, right?

I would say so, yes. mGBA is kind of the latest recommendation when it
comes to GBA emulation. I remember when people used to say visual boy
advance or the one you mentioned using. This issue could be emulator
specific.

Hey, just wanted to follow-up if you tried the emulator I mentioned and encountered the same issue? I just completed my third full playthrough bug testing and couldn't replicate this. Hope no news is good news from you.

Hey I I tried it on the new emulator just yesterday and before that I’ve
tried it with eclipse on my phone, redownloaded the rom and no problems so
far at all, loving the game so far btw.
