For a quickstart please use the provided docker-compose.yml file and just run:
docker-compose up to start up a development environment.
CouchDB is used as the primary datastore in this application. https://couchdb.apache.org
You can configure the application to point at your CouchDB instance with the following environment variables:

You can access the CouchDB web interface by going to /_utils.
If running the default docker-compose environment provided in this repository the CouchDB UI will be located at: http://localhost:5984/_utils
