this is a very sad new!
There are any thing we can do to help you to continue with the project?

In any case, thanks for your work all this time, David. ;)

If anybody knows any utility or system to use Whatshap on a Linux Desktop, please, tell us.

It's a pity.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your willingness to share your know how and spent your time for foreign people, David!

oh noe david, we need this amazing software! :(

Thank you David, only.
Thank you a lot. You had to take care probably of a lot more things than
just development: lawyers, takedown requests and so on.
So Thank you, for your time, courage and for freeing people in some sense.

Thank you.
Enrico

:( Thank you Mr. David. this is a good project.

Thank you David for your hard work despite many difficulties during these years. It's a shame that someone built a business on an open protocol crafted to make it almost impossible to use it without the official account.

Thanks David! Your plugin allowed me to communicate with family and friends all this time.
Now during the last months when we were offline of whatsapp I started to ask people to emigrate to telegram with awesome results!
Once again thank you very much for all your contribution and effort to the open access and freedom in communication protocols :)

Thanks David for your contribution and for all your hard work, this leaves the stage for someone else continue the project. Thanks for all the joys and good times pass, with Whatsapp Purple from my computer with GNU Linux system.

A hug :)

It's working with resource: S40-2.13.30-443

@davidgfnet, could you please publish the user manual somewhere for us who would still like to use your plug-in? I don't know what password to use…

Can anyone say if this was picked up by someone else? The pidgin website still links so it looks like it's still the "official" plugin?
