Summary: ComicCol is an application that allows users to search and add their favorite comics to a list where they can rate and review them. The ComicVine API is used to collect the data of comics in order to give the users a wide varity of comics. Some of this information includes a description, title, name of issue, and data released. While reading the information on a comic the user is able to leave a review at the bottom of the page. This application UI is easy to navigate and has a beautiful fron end UI. Each page is easy on the eyes and fits our comic theme.

Project Requirements:

  1. Must use Node.js and Express.js to create a RESTful API
  2. Must use MySQL and the Sequelize ORM for the database
  3. Must have both GET and POST routes for retrieving and adding new data
  4. Must use at least one new library, package, or technology that we haven’t discussed
  5. Must have a folder structure that meets the MVC paradigm
  6. Must include authentication (passport and jsonwebtoken)
  7. Must protect API keys and sensitive information with environment variables
  8. Must be deployed using Heroku (with data)
  9. Must have a polished UI
  10. Must be mobile responsive
  11. Must be interactive (i.e., accept and respond to user input)
  12. Must meet good-quality coding standards (file structure, best practices, etc.)
  13. Must have a professional README (unique name, description, link to the deployed app)
