Fetching Data from a Third-Party API with Vue.js and Axios

Requirements

  • Node.js (v14.x or later)
  • Yarn (v1.22.x or later)

Installation Steps

  1. Clone repo

  2. Execute yarn install

  3. Acquire your NYTimes API key from New York Times Developer Network

  4. Create an .env file at the root of this project and place it using the format `VITE_NYT_API_KEY=

  5. Execute yarn dev to start the dev server

  6. Open your browser and point it to http://localhost:3030
