install Expo Go https://expo.dev/go
make sure you have node version 16 or higher installed
make sure you have updated version of xcode and command line tools installed
start the server npx expo start
scan the qr code with the expo go app on your phone to get started or to run an emulator on the macbook you can run: npm run ios || spm run android
