- Node.js and npm:

- Git:

- Clone the Repository:

- Navigate to the Project:
cd github-commit-comparator
- Install Dependencies:
npm install
- Start the Development Server:
npm start
- Access the App:
- Open your web browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000/ to access the GitHub Commit Comparator.
- Search and Add Repositories:
- Use the search box to find and select GitHub repositories.
- Added repositories will be displayed in the list.
- Compare Commit Activity:
- View the commit activity of the selected repositories in the interactive chart.
- Manage Repositories:
- Remove repositories by clicking the delete button next to each repository.
- Hover Over Repositories:
- Hover over each repository in the list to view the corresponding commit chart line one by one.
- The application requires access to the GitHub API.
- In case your IP faces restrictions preventing access to the GitHub API, the app may experience limitations or disruptions.
To deploy the app to production, follow these steps:
- Configure a production build using the appropriate build tools (e.g., Webpack, Create React App).
- Choose a hosting platform such as GitHub Pages, Netlify, or Vercel.
- Set up your production environment and deploy the application.
