Bug: Does not work on alternate pastes

I'm suddenly encountering a strange problem wherein the paste does not work to paste-as-link on every other paste.

Love this plugin otherwise.

I've been having this issue as well the past few days.

I think there's a conflict with this plugin https://github.com/zolrath/obsidian-auto-link-title

I think that's a separate issue. I don't have that plugin.

Good to hear. I observed that this bug doesn't happen in the Sandbox Vault.

In my Vault, when I turned off the plugin obsidian-auto-link-title this alternate paste bug disappeared.

I'm experiencing the same issue.

  • It always works at the second try
  • It works fine in the Sandbox vault
  • i do not have obsidian-auto-link-title

edit: ok, this is where it gets strange. I disabled all plugins and it worked fine again. After re-enabling one plugin after another it still keeps working after all plugins are now enabled again. I don't get it.

@ltroj just for clarification. This means that it's not a problem of a specific plugin, but as long as all plugin are disabled and re-enabled then obsidian-url-into-selection will work fine?

At least that was the case for me. I tried to identify the plugin causing the problem so I switched them on one by one and tried again after each plugin. In the end I had them all enabled and it kept working.

This might have worked for me, too.

In my case the conflict exists with the Linter plugin

@adampetrovic Did you identify a specific setting in Linter which causes the conflict?

@ltroj unfoetunately not. I toggled the linter plugin on and off and haven’t been able to reproduce it since

I confirm that it has also been a solution for me. After turning off and on the Linter plugin, the issue does not come back, even after restarting the PC.
