This application is a blockchain based ledger system created through Python and the front-end library Streamlit. It allows a user to enter various data and then add blocks (data containers) to a chain of blocks (list). The data is hashed using the SHA256 hashing algorithm from hashlib. The blockchain includes the hash of the previous block in each new block to ensure the chain remains un-altered.
This analysis uses python Python and the following libraries:
- Pandas - Provides data manipulation and visualization necessary to conduct this analysis
- dataclass - Provides a decorator and functions for automatically adding generated special methods.
- Typing - Provides runtime support for type hitns
- datetime - Provides classes for manipulating dates and times
- hashlib - Implements a common interface to many different secure hash and message digest algorithms

Download Anaconda to your computer.

Clone the repo to your local machine

Navigate to the directory of the cloned repo in your terminal or gitbash
