- Open the Extensions sidebar in VS Code.
View → Extensions
- Search for
Palenight
, choose "Material Palenight Theme" by whizkydee - Click Install to install it
- Click Reload to reload your editor
- Navigate to File > Preferences > Color Theme > Palenight Theme or any of the variants listed
- Yay! You're all set 🎉🎉.
Psst! If you have the Operator Mono font installed, find Palenight Operator in the theme list. Also, check out Palenight Italic for a less operator-mono-ish experience.
There's also an Atom version of this theme created by me.
Since the launch of this theme, it's been used by great developers including the amazing Sarah Drasner, Cory House, Chris Sevilleja amongst others. It's been featured on Wes Bos' Syntax.fm podcast and Scotch.io as a recommended theme and has gotten hundreds of positive reviews.
