We all like to go out and dine at fine restaurants. But do we pause and think what are the typical ingredients that go into the food? I have collected data from allrecipes.com on many middle-eastern cuisines and explored theire ingredients. In particular, I have analyzed the frequency with which the ingredients are used and the correlation between reviews and ratings in the above site. For example, we noticed that tomato is the most used vegetable in middle-eastern recipes, and cloves the most used spice (who knew!).
