We will guide you through the process of setting up the uPyCraft IDE on a Windows PC for programming IoT devices.
- Install python
- Visit the following link: uPyCraft IDE Installation
- Follow the instructions provided by Team Digipodium to download the uPyCraft IDE.
- Locate the downloaded uPyCraft IDE installation file.
- Double-click on the installation file to begin the installation process.
- Follow the on-screen instructions provided by Team Digipodium to complete the installation.
- Connect your IoT device (ESP8266) to your Windows PC using a USB cable.
- Ensure the device is recognized by your PC and the necessary drivers are installed.
- Launch the uPyCraft IDE that you installed in Step 2.
- You should see a user-friendly interface where you can write and upload code to your IoT device.
- Write your Python code in the editor provided by uPyCraft IDE.
- Use the IDE's features to upload the code to your IoT device and run it.
Download and Install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable:
