This project analyzes the durations of movies on Netflix by year of release and marking non-feature films (<= 60 minutes long) by genres.
I have used two different datasets (courtesy of Datacamp).

‘netflix_data.csv’ contains data about the different titles on Netflix. The show id, type (movie or TV show), relevant information about the title such as name of the feature, the director, the cast, the country of production, release year, length, genre, a brief description, and the date when the feature was added to Netflix are the attributes describing the records in the table.

‘color_data.csv’ contains data about the colors for different titles. It is a categorical value that will help in data visualizations.
These are some of the key findings for this project:

We can see that newer movies are overrepresented on the platform.

Many short movies have been released in the past two decades. Some of these films are under an hour long!

Many of the films that are under 60 minutes fall into genres such as "Children", "Stand-Up", and "Documentaries". These types of films are probably often shorter than 90 minute Hollywood blockbuster.
