Web Scraping for Wine Grapes
I worked for 4 months as a volunteer at a winery in Kakheti, Georgia in 2019. I was super inspired about the Caucausus region's native wine grape diversity and history.
As a sort of paean to all of that, I did a web-scraping script to get all the Armenian native wine grapes. It's pretty bare-bones and "scripty", but it was my intro to Ruby web-scraping
Future Plans
Add web scraping for my other "favorite" wine-grape rich countries: Italy, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Greece, Spain, Portugal, etc
