rf2500hidapi fails to open a device in some macOS configurations

In the following configuration, rf2500hidapi transport driver fails to open a device with unknown reason.

  • macOS 10.13.5
  • hidapi 0.8.0-rc (Homebrew-ed)
  • Macmini 4,1 (Mid 2010)

Though it works fine on the following configuration.

  • macOS 10.13.5
  • hidapi 0.8.0-rc (Homebrew-ed)
  • MacBookPro11,5 (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)

I've tried with MSP-eZ430U and MSP-EXP430G2 but both have the same results.
