Just like the title - are you thinking of updating the generator to use the latest ASP.NET Core?

And if so, when is it going to happen? Next month or no plans at all?

Good idea, I will put this in my todo list.
I would need to research into ASP.NET Core first.

I've been busy with other projects using NodeJS, so I need to get my head round this again

i just found out this generator exists which has ASP.NET and Angular:

https://github.com/omnisharp/generator-aspnet

which makes this one redundant!

Probably better if I deprecate this, and people switch over to the more complete generator!
