As it was defined by its developers,Hyperscan is a high-performance multiple regex matching library. It follows the regular expression syntax of the commonly-used libpcre library, but is a standalone library with its own C API.
This small program was developed in order to get acquainted with the hyperscan API and test its performance, comparing it to the regular regexp executions. The performace analyzis is to be added.
