Overview

Welcome to the Resume Mobile App! This is HNGx stage-2 task - simple mobile application. Built using React Native, designed to help users create, display, and edit their resumes on their mobile devices. This README file provides an overview of the app's features, setup instructions, and usage guidelines.

Prerequisites

Before you can run the Resume Mobile App, you need to have the following software installed on your development machine:

  • Node.js: Make sure you have Node.js installed. You can download it from https://nodejs.org/.
  • Expo CLI: Install Expo CLI globally using npm by running npm install -g expo-cli.

Getting Started

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/dread557/cv.git
  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd cv
  3. Install the project dependencies:

    npm install

Running the App

Now that you have the project set up, you can run the app on your local development server. Follow these steps:

  1. Start the development server:

    npm start
  2. Expo DevTools will open in your default web browser. You can use this interface to run the app on a physical device or an emulator.

  3. To run the app on your mobile device, install the Expo Go app from your device's app store. Scan the QR code displayed in the Expo DevTools in your browser using the Expo Go app.

  4. The app should now be running on your mobile device or emulator.

Usage

Once the app is running, you can perform the following actions:

  • View Resume: Upon launching the app, your resume will be displayed.
  • Edit Resume: Click on the "Edit" button to make changes to your resume. You can update personal details, skills, education, and work experience.
  • Save Resume: Your edited resume will be automatically saved.

Customization

You can customize the app by modifying the source code to fit your specific requirements. The main code files are located in the src directory. Feel free to add new features or change the app's appearance as needed.
