ESL Example Notebooks
This repository contains Mathematica notebooks to replicate the experiments of the runnig example in
The Elements of Statistical Learning:
Data Mining, Inference, and Prediction.

The ESL.mixture.rda file contains the original data which can be
downloaded from the author's website. The ESL-mixture.csv and
ESL-mixture-means.csv files containt the tables of all the
data and the means. These files can be read directly from
Mathematica.
Those who do not have a copy of Mathematica available can use the notebook viewer that can be downloaded for free from Wolfram's website.
