Name: ELibrary Version: 1.0.0 Description: ELibrary is a web base system, which provides the users access to books, journals, articles, and encyclopedias plus helpful citation tools; it keeps track of the issues and submissions of books, process of maintaining data about the library resources as well as transactions with respect to the issue and return of the books. The reader can search for books, borrow items if they are present in the library and all the details of the user are stored in the database. The user can also request for books, check the due date of the book borrowed, his loan history as well as outstanding fines. The user need not to visit the library every time to find an item, instead he/she can search items from his/her own laptop or pc.The ELibrary provide membership to the users of the library system of which any person can become a member by filling a prescribed form, they can take the book issued home and return it on or before the stipulated due date. If returned after the due date, the user will have to pay the fine charges. Admin will be able to manage the library from their desktop, monitor any item, read write information about all the members, update, create, and delete the record of the membership as per requirement. This system is efficient as its database is accurate at any given point of time since all automated and update after every transaction. Features: For Users 1. Login to the System on the first page of the application 2. Change the password after logging into the system 2. See the status of the book/journals borrowed / reserved by him and the respect due dates and other relevant details. 3. Search for a particular book/journal based on the name of the book/name of the author. 4. Reserve a particular book/journal borrowed by other. 5. Cancel the reservation made earlier for a particular book/journal. 6. Place requests for purchasing to the library by giving details about the name of the book and name of the author. 7. Get help about the Library system on how to use the different features of the system. For Admin 1. Include new books/journals or remove some books from the system 2. Add new users to the system 3. See the requests for new book and be able to approve or reject them. 4. Send an sms to people who are having the book currently, stating a reservation has been made on that book.
