Overview I don't know what it is about in-place upgrades of a bloomberg terminal installation, but it can take (literally) hours on even the best systems (Dell Precision Tower 34xx series). So, I figured out how to manage ACLs for folders and the registry using .NET Framework libraries within powershell.
