Hi @263868161 the project dependencies are updated in each release.
Particulary in v2.12.0, the fastcdr library has been updated to v2.0.0.
Please, check that you local configuration is set with the ShapesDemo v2.12.0 dependencies versions, and consider closing this issue if that solves your problem.

Hi @263868161, I followed the same steps in my local setup x64 Ubuntu 22.04 and I could not reproduce your issue.
Could you provide more information about your system to determine the root of the core dump?
