Why Yet another Translator

I have developed a Bob plugin that utilizes ChatGPT API to provide global word translation on macOS. However, since not all users have access to macOS to benefit from the plugin, I have created this project!

How to use

Features

It offers three modes: translation, polishing, and summarization.
Our tool allows for mutual translation, polishing, and summarization across 55 different languages.
Streaming mode is supported!

Installation(Desktop App)

Download zip package per OS from Release
Install the App!

Windows

Double click OpenAI Translator-*.msi will do the job!
macOS

Drag the OpenAI Translator to Applications

Open the App!

When you first open it in macOS, you may encounter this problem:

Click Cancel and then go to Settings -> Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway and finally click Open, and that's it!

If you encounter permission prompts every time you open it, or cannot perform shortcut key word translation, please go to the permission settings page to delete OpenAI Translator and then re-add OpenAI Translator.
