touch <file name> - creates a blank file
git clone <html> - copies our repo to our computer
git status - checks what stage files are in. Whether it is commited or staged.
git add <file name> - adds file to the stage to be committed
git commit -m <message> - Saves a group of changes and creates a message description
git checkout -b <branch name> - Changes our current branch to a new branch with branch name
git push origin <branch name> - Takes any local changes we committed to the remote repository
