installation

  • add you openAI secret inside the bin/index.js file (line 8).

  • cd into the repo and run the following command: npm i -g

you will now be able to use this tool on any repo you have saved locally.

usage

be sure to stage the files you would like to commit and run the following command:

npx commit-message

this will generate a short commit message (less than 50 words) for you to use.
