Learning from these resources

To follow these resources, you need a Linux terminal. Here are your options:

  1. If you have Ubuntu, you are good to go
  2. If you have Windows 10, follow the instructions in this article to set up Ubuntu shell.

For Windows 7 or 8,

  1. Install git bash using these instructions
  2. Install Cygwin using these instructions

These options should cover each of you. The other option requires longer set up: Ubuntu Virtual box or dual booting Ubuntu and windows. Many resources on how to do this are available on the web.
