Character Mining is a ongoing research project of the Emory NLP Group. The project focuses on mining attributes and construction knowledge bases for entities in multiparty conversational transcript.

Character identification is a preliminary task for character mining. This is a sub-task of entity linking we defined. Character identification is a task of mapping each mention in context to one or more characters in a knowledge base.
