Recipe App

This project is a recipe app that relies on data from The Meal DB API to display recipes. Users can explore recipes from the API, but the app does not include the ability to add new recipes or save favorites.

Requirements

Before you can run this project, you will need to install the following development tools:

  • Node.js: Make sure you have Node.js installed on your computer.
  • npm: npm is usually included with Node.js, but you can check if it's installed by running npm -v in your terminal.
  • Android Studio: If you plan to run the app on an Android emulator or physical device, you will need to install Android Studio.

Download and Installation

Follow the steps below to download the project files and run the application:

  1. Go to the URL where you can download the project by clicking the "Code" button in the top left corner of this project.

  2. Copy the URL or download it as a ZIP file using the "Download ZIP" option.

  3. Extract the ZIP file and place the project in a folder of your choice.

  4. Open your command prompt and navigate to the project folder:

    cd /your/project/directory/RecipesApp

To install the required dependencies, run the following command:

npm install

To start the project, run the following command:

npm start
