When a video is paused, the screensaver fails to start

Hum it will be a bit tricky since this screensaver also uses the player. So for it to be active it will need to stop the playback of your previous stream. This will carry some issues if you want to resume your video after stopping the screensaver (specially if using addons). But I'll have a look later.

Ok that is what I had feared
Hope it is easy to solve, would be nice to have the screensaver running when video is paused

I thought other screensavers didn't start when a video is paused anyway. If I remember that correctly, it wouldn't be expected for this one to start in that situation.

The "dim" screensaver does

Oh, good point. Honestly I could be misremembering, but I'm pretty sure in the years I ran a slideshow screensaver it didn't start when a video was paused. Personally I wouldn't want it to, but it's possible that was a decision of that screensaver plugin, or an option for the user.

I would personally love to see this impliented as well, but as an option for the user to select. Anyway love what you've done with this project

there's a reason for this issue not be closed already :) I plan to do it...as an optional setting since I find it "intrusive" myself
