Setting Up OpenWeatherMap API Key and Twilio API for SMS

This guide will walk you through the process of setting up your OpenWeatherMap API key and Twilio API credentials for sending SMS messages. These steps are essential for integrating weather data retrieval and SMS notifications into your applications.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have the following:

OpenWeatherMap API Key: Sign up for a free OpenWeatherMap API key by following these steps:

  1. Go to OpenWeatherMap and sign up for a free account.
  2. Once you've registered and logged in, go to the API Keys section to create a new API key.
  3. Make note of your API key, as you will need it later.

Twilio Account: Sign up for a Twilio account if you don't have one:

  1. Go to Twilio and sign up for a free account.
  2. After you've created your account, navigate to the Twilio Dashboard.
  3. Twilio API Credentials: In the Twilio Dashboard, find your Account SID and Auth Token. Make sure to keep these credentials secure.
  4. Twilio Phone Number: In the Twilio Dashboard, obtain a Twilio phone number for sending SMS messages. This will be the sender's phone number.

Now Clone this repo onto your machine then edit the config.env file and add the necessary placeholders
