INSIGHT a news website. Project made in 12 hours for the Object Oriented Programming 2 Class. INSIGHT has: - Flask framework to render the web application; - NewsApi api to get the news; - Pickles for local storage; - Register/Login system; - News Filtering capabilites (Date, Topic, Category and Sort method). How to use: - Clone/Download this Repository; - In a terminal go to the downloaded directory and write pip install -r requirements.txt - That's it, now you can run the web application by writting python run.py; - You can reset the local storage by writting python reset_storage.py.
