EOL Translation Tool --------------------- Developed by Bibliotheca Alexandrina (http://www.bibalex.org) Installation (for ubuntu): ============= 1- install packages sudo apt-get install apache2 sudo apt-get install php5 php5-mysql php-pear sudo pear channel-discover pear.horde.org sudo pear install horde/Horde_Yaml sudo pear install Mail 2- rename config/database_sample.yml to config/database.yml and add db connection variables 3- rename config/constants_sample.php to config/constants.php and edit variables in this constants file 4- create 2 databases for translation tool and for eol data sample 5- install db_migration/eol_development.sql mysql -u user_name -p database_name < db_migration/eol_development.sql replace user_name and database_name with your values 6- install other sql scripts in db_migration directory (MUST be installed sequentially) 7- Make sure /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini has session.auto_start=1 and restart apache2 service if needed
