SlimeTAP

SlimeTAP is a game developed as a web application based on Razor Pages. It is a fun pastime where each tap on the screen earns the player gold coins. These coins can be used to purchase upgrades for the tap, increasing the value earned per tap or the quantity of taps.

Key Features

  • Coin Earning: Each tap on the screen earns the player gold coins, which are the main currency in the game.
  • Tap Upgrades: The player can invest gold coins in upgrades to improve the value earned per tap or increase the quantity of taps performed.
  • Missions: The game offers missions that the player can complete to earn experience (XP) and two other in-game currencies.
  • Lootboxes and Equipment: In addition to gold coins, the player can use the other two currencies acquired through missions to purchase lootboxes and equipment, which provide additional benefits.

Running the Project

To run the SlimeTAP project on your local environment, follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure you have the development environment set up with .NET Core SDK and a local web server.
  2. Clone this repository to your local machine.
  3. Navigate to the project directory using the terminal or command prompt.
  4. Run the dotnet run command to start the local web server.
  5. Open your web browser and access http://localhost:<port> to play SlimeTAP.

Note: Replace <port> with the specific port number where the web server is running on your local environment. The default port is usually 5000, but it may vary depending on your environment configuration.

Make sure to provide users with the correct information about the port to use so that they can properly access the game on their local environments.
