First make sure your linux machine has boost
sudo apt-get install libboost-all-dev
Assume a recent anaconda install, and your root anaconda install is in $ANACONDA_ROOT
- clone repo
cd irm
mkdir build
cd build
cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=$ANACONDA_ROOT/ ../
make -j 8
make install
note there is a chance you will have to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to $ANACONDA_ROOT/lib
To validate, try running tests/modelexample.ipynb
from an ipython notebook
Honestly, don't even try, getting brew to install the right gcc and boost and cmake to interoperate with anaconda is enough of a challenge that, unless you're doing local develoment, it's not worth it.
CC=gcc-5 CXX=g++-5 cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=$ANACONDA_ROOT/ ../
