Istallation Instructions

  • Navigate to the folder you would like to keep the utility in.
  • git clone https://github.com/ericschoettle/survey-sorter-utility.git

Usage instructions

  • Navigate to the survey-sorter-utility directory. For single-time, all defaults use,
  • .\index.js
  • For repeated use,
  • npm install -g
  • sort
  • The default behavior is to read from sample-input.txt in the present working directory and write to results.txt in the same folder. These behaviors, and the point-mapping, can be changed, eg:
  • sort FILEPATH=Users/me/surveys INPUTFILENAME=my-input.txt OUTPUTFILENAME=my-output.txt
