a small demo project using the approach outlined in the sdl2-helloworld project.

how we got here (assuming we already have the sdl2-hellworld project)

  • mkdir sdl2-helloworld-demo1
  • cp -a sdl2-helloworld/. sdl2-helloworld-demo1/
  • cd sdl2-helloworld-demo1
  • opened build/windows/vs2013/helloworld.sln
  • updated MyApplication.h/.cpp
  • build and launch via debugger

The assets used in the demo are all taken from open source projects around the web but should not be distributed without proper creditation, etc.

  • assets/fonts/04b_03__.ttf used from the glorious FlashPunk library
