1. cmake -B build -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release
2. make -C build
3. copy executable (build/leftCtrl2shiftCtrl) to anywhere on the PATH
4. follow interception-tools instructions (see repository linked below)

• cmake, make, a C-compiler
• interception-tools (https://gitlab.com/interception/linux/tools)
