This is a quick and dirty webserver for setting up a webserver to delegate DNS.
- Go to Swagger Editor.
- Copy and paste openapi.yml.
- Click Generate Client > html2.
- Extract and drop/replace index.html into html folder.
To start the webserver, run one of the following commands:
npm startto start the server on port 8000
SERVICE_PORT=8081 npm startto start the server on port 8081
Test it out by navigating to localhost:8080 or localhost:8080/google.com.
- Build the Docker Image
podman build . -t <username>/http-dns-delegate
- Check the Docker Image
podman images
- Run the Docker Image
podman run --env SERVICE_HOST=0.0.0.0 --env SERVICE_PORT=8001 -p 49160:8001 -d <username>/http-dns-delegate
- Check on Status and Find Container ID
podman ps
- Check Application Logs
podman logs <container ID>
- Kill the Image
podman kill <container ID>
