Open any smokeview file.
Rotate the view away from the default view.
Open the clipping dialog box, select any of the clipping options, turn on a clipping plane, and type or use the arrows to adjust clipping.
In this case smokeview keeps the view as it was changed from the default view.
Turn on the checkbox for rotation center of clipping planes
The view resets itself to the default view
Again rotate away from the default view.
Change any clipping plane
In this case the view resets itself to the default default view.
In my opinion the desired behavior is the view should not change as I make edits in this dialog box.
