A simple words-per-hour calculator for writers with a word limit and limited time!
Using this application, you can track how many words you will need to write per hour in order to meet your writing deadline.
This small application was created in and hour or two, making use of the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word namespace, in order to serve as motivation while writing reports!
Spoiler alert: Seeing how many words you have left is usually not motivation.
Once you have your word document ready, follow the steps below to start calculating some words!
- Open Word Countdown.
- Select word document from list.
- Drag left slider up and down to specify word target.
- Set date and time target with drop-down and slider on the right.
