A Cocoa administration interface for Mongo databases

Primary LanguageCMIT LicenseMIT

Mongo Explorer

A simple Cocoa application to administer Mongo databases. This project is just starting, so please be lenient. My skills with Cocoa are also bare-bones: if you have suggestions on how to make this better, please get in touch.

TODO

Nearly everything?!?

  • Nice Mac icon;
  • Display documents hierarchically (nested documents);
  • Paginate or efficiently work with many, many documents;
  • Query interface against a DB / collection;
  • Create, Update and Delete databases, collections and documents;
  • Create, Update and Delete keys within a document;
  • Copy/Paste documents between databases / collections;
  • Use an NSToolbar (maybe?) for the database / collection choosers.

Completed

  • Connect to Mongo;
  • Retrieve databases, collections and documents;
  • View documents using a flattened view.
