Build Season Schedule

This is a rough schedule of what build season should look like. It's gonna look fast, but that's just how FRC is. You won't believe how much you can get done working as many hours a week as you will.

Before Build Season

  • Prepare electrical components
    • Motor controllers need female quick connects on the power-in side and male quick connects on the power-out side, and one set of male and one set of female quick connects on the CAN bus
    • The Ethernet switch power cord may need to be modified to plug in to the appropriate VRM port

During Build Season

Week 1

  • T811 Modulus Kits need to be 3D printed
    • All components need to be mounted to the T811 Modulus Kit cells
  • Fully assemble/ wire the main boards
  • Change board layout to match bot layout
  • Plan sensors

Week 2

  • Add sensors as they apply to gamepiece manipulation on mechanical's end of things
  • Ensure wire management is on point

Week 3

  • Add sensors as they apply to gamepiece manipulation on mechanical's end of things
  • Ensure wire management is on point

Week 4

  • Add sensors as they apply to complicated endgame mechanisms on mechanical's end of things
  • Ensure wire management is on point

Week 5

  • Add sensors as they apply to complicated endgame mechanisms on mechanical's end of things
  • Ensure wire management is on point

Week 6

  • Stress testing
    • Marines-style hell day - beat. up. the. robot. Procedure page forthcoming.
  • Pit and driver practice

Any remaining time before competition
